The cost of prescriptions in America is ridiculous. Everything in the health industry in the US is expensive and mid-quality. Most preventative medicine is banned and the lower and even some of the middle class dies from easily treated problems simply because they have no insurance OR the insurance denies paying for it. The US is the only country in the Western world that doesn't have some form of free universal healthcare, they teach that socialised healthcare is evil and inefficient, when really it is the exact opposite.

What I get out of this is the kind of "death is a moneymaker" feeling. But, that is because of my personal view when I see a heap of pills on dollar bills. I also will agree with "the most precentative medicine is banned"; I seriously don't understand why the safest and most inexpensive medincines are banned and everyone is subjected to expensive things that have the same benefits of drinking toilet cleaner, illusioned to tell us it will make us better.
Sorry, I get deep about stuff like this just because of my experiences...I am not blind that some need it and can't afford it too...but money and pills are close to the root of all evil to me.
